Selected for Falmouth Bienniel Exhibition

Falmouth (Municipal)Gallery, The Moor, Town Centre Falmouth from November 23rd 2019 to January 18th., 2020.

The bienniel exhibition celebrates the work of the best available currently in Cornish art. Selection is made blind in two stages, the first involving gallery staff and those public involved in the locality and finally six professionals are invited, three curators and three artists, all selecting independentlt and without knowing the artist’s details.

Exhibition at The Butchers Hall, Tavistock 2019

From 31st.July to 3pm. on 4th.August I will be joining other members of Drawn To The Valley to exhibit at this new venue.New works include an abstract combining mixed media and collage and a landscape formed with painting knives working much as I used to in the 1960s/70s!

ST.IVES – TAVISTOCK – LONDON .

Tamar Moorings Viewed from Cotehele Woods

In June (2-14) I will be exhibiting new works at St.Ives at The Crypt Gallery with the National Acrylic Painters’ Association. Then in August (2-6) with Drawn To The Valley artists at Tavistock Town Hall. October 21st. to 27th. sees a further joint venture with Drawn To The Valley artists at The Royal Opera Arcade Gallery in Pall Mall, London, W1, featuring works inspired by the Tamar Valley.

FORTHCOMING EXHIBITIONS 2017

I am exhibiting with NAPA 2-14 July, 2017 at The Crypt Gallery, St.Ives and later at Tavistock Town Hall with Drawn To The Valley, 2-6 August. New works include those on a recent theme of musical starting points and the atmosphere of musical settings and synaesthetic influences.

EXHIBITING WITH NAPA IN CHICHESTER

Four works in acrylic will be exhibited with the fellow artists of the National Acrylic Painters’ Association at The John Rank Gallery, Oxmarket Centre, Chichester from Tuesday 2nd. August until Sunday 14th.August. This should be an exciting event involving member artists from the UK and abroad who all use acrylics in their work, often demonstrating a wide range of techniques.

TAVISTOCK SUMMER EXHIBITION 2016

I will be exhibiting with Drawn To The Valley in the annual Summer Exhibition at Tavistock Town Hall, the stunning centrepiece to the town endowed by The Dukes of Bedford. It runs from the evening of Tuesday 26th. July until 4pm on the following Sunday, short but always well worth a visit. My works in this show include drawing, pastel and collage. The Hall Gallery, Sterts, May 1st to 25th, 2015

This is another first for 2015! I was delighted to have been invited to show at the Hall Gallery, Sterts Theatre, Arts and Environmental Centre and in particular to have a different focus to my very recent Paris exhibition by using collage as the main focus.

The well-supported opening set the atmosphere for the period of the show and as a result we were delighted to be able to contribute £545 to the Sterts charitable Trust funds.

I look forward to a return to exhibit in the future.

The Vernissage, Galerie Monod

The Vernissage took place on 16th.April, 2015 and was well-attended, lively and tested my language skills! As well as being supported by friends at the event many others visited who were invited via contacts or by the gallery and other artists. In the end about 26 works were available, eleven being mounted works on paper in a stand, the remainder canvases of various sizes.

The galerie itself is in a quiet road but just close to Metro Motte Piquet, not very far from the Eiffel Tower. The owner and her husband are charming and knowledgable.
